The "brain" of my 2018 Chevy Suburban went out. I called Tricia at Thayer Chevy Service. She walked me through a few things over the phone to try as diagnostics, then offered to tow it to them (I used my AAA to tow it). The service manager is always pleasant to talk too. I like that she treats me like a person and doesn’t talk over me or try to make me feel ignorant like some service managers do at other dealers. It’s nice to have a place to bring my daughter’s car to for oil changes and recommendations made on what will need fixed in the future. I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of like I have at other dealers and for that I’m very appreciative.

In September, I had scheduled an appointment for October 10 on the phone. There was no text or email follow up. On October 10, they said we had missed the appointment date, despite them never making contact with us after the appointment was scheduled. Then we were only offered to reschedule at the end of November. I expected a dealership service center would be able to schedule and communicate with us on a basic level.
My salesperson, Tyler, was incredibly responsive. I appreciated that she had answers to my questions within minutes of reaching out to her. Other dealerships took hours or even days to respond in some cases. Tyler texted me back in a matter of minutes with offer numbers, and continued to be helpful and responsive at every step. She took really good care of me through the whole process.
Very helpful, so friendly and did everything they could to get us innthe car we wanted. Tyler was exceptional! She was so sweet and great to work with!
Tricia in the service department is top notch and will do anything she can. But I would say in the last year the service technicians have not been as meticulous as in the past. In addition the resources to assist with loaner, courtesy shuttle etc. have lessened making it more of a burden to go to this dealership service dept.
Thayer body shop does great work! Repaired my camaro and it looks great.

The dealership did a fine job. The part that is noteworthy is that I had to take a truck in for nonscheduled maintenance at 13,000 miles. For the money laid out for these vehicles, it is plain unacceptable. First Chevy truck I owned as a daily driver, was a Ford man, maybe I'll go back!

I have had my 2017 Cadillac SUV serviced at Thayer Chevrolet since I bought it in 2019. I could take it to a Cadillac dealership but don't think I would get the personal service I get at Thayer. Recently had occasion again to work with Tricia and she is awesome! She took care of getting my vehicle fixed while I was out of town and it was done and ready to be picked up when I returned, as promised. All the Thayer Chevy service personnel are great but Tricia is exceptional!! Thank you all!

I had a positive experience when I called initially and spoke with a helpful woman then I called back to schedule repair and the man treated me very well. Thayer is like most car dealerships which is unfortunate. The reason many people dislike car dealerships is because they feel that the dealership is not being fair. Now I acknowledge that it was my choice to trade in my car and buy theirs. However, showing you the value on paper to place it on their lot at double that value is where the dealerships get their not so popular reputation. Unfortunately it’s a typical car dealership. They tell you your car isn’t worth much and then put it on their lot for almost double what you were given for it(which is why it’s always better to sell privately). The most annoying part is they want to automatically charge you $249 because they supposedly filled your tires with nitrogen! Just Google it. Third dealership I've been in contact with, while trying to buy a Bolt EUV for the past 4ish months. Not only was the incoming model I had looked at available to reserve (finally, one other dealership had one incoming, but ghosted me after I told them I could not drive the 200miles there until the upcoming weekend) - Thayer has been friendly; helpful and courteous through the whole process. Made sure all my questions & knowledge about the car, going electric, trial subscriptions, financing, and so on, were all answered before leaving the lot.
I had a very positive experience! The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all of my questions and was really supportive every step of the way 🙂

I worked with Mike (if my aging memory serves) the estimator through the whole process who made everything simple and easy to coordinate with Enterprise and StateFarm; I greatly appreciate his expert help.
The bodywork is expert as well, and I really have to strain my eyes (also aging) while squatting down with the sun at the exact correct angle to see only the slightest hint of "orange peel". Trisha in service helped me address a rare issue with our Chevy Corvette. It was problem locking up the steering column. It would not allow the car to start.
