The "brain" of my 2018 Chevy Suburban went out. I called Tricia at Thayer Chevy Service. She walked me through a few things over the phone to try as diagnostics, then offered to tow it to them (I used my AAA to tow it). Once there, the mechanics could not even pull the codes from the truck "brain" it was deader than a door nail. The service manager is always pleasant to talk too. I like that she treats me like a person and doesn’t talk over me or try to make me feel ignorant like some service managers do at other dealers. It’s nice to have a place to bring my daughter’s car to for oil changes and recommendations made on what will need fixed in the future. I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of like I have at other dealers and for that I’m very appreciative.

The dealership did a fine job. The part that is noteworthy is that I had to take a truck in for nonscheduled maintenance at 13,000 miles. For the money laid out for these vehicles, it is plain unacceptable. First Chevy truck I owned as a daily driver, was a Ford man, maybe I'll go back!

I have had my 2017 Cadillac SUV serviced at Thayer Chevrolet since I bought it in 2019. I could take it to a Cadillac dealership but don't think I would get the personal service I get at Thayer. Recently had occasion again to work with Tricia and she is awesome! She took care of getting my vehicle fixed while I was out of town and it was done and ready to be picked up when I returned, as promised. Third dealership I've been in contact with, while trying to buy a Bolt EUV for the past 4ish months. Not only was the incoming model I had looked at available to reserve (finally, one other dealership had one incoming, but ghosted me after I told them I could not drive the 200miles there until the upcoming weekend) - Thayer has been friendly; helpful and courteous through the whole process. Made sure all my questions & knowledge about the car, going electric, trial subscriptions, financing, and so on, were all answered before leaving the lot.

I worked with Mike (if my aging memory serves) the estimator through the whole process who made everything simple and easy to coordinate with Enterprise and StateFarm; I greatly appreciate his expert help. The bodywork is expert as well, and I really have to strain my eyes (also aging) while squatting down with the sun at the exact correct angle to see only the slightest hint of "orange peel".
